CONNECT magazine‘s 2018 benchmark of German networks puts Broadband Providers and Streaming-Portals through their Paces: Zafaco and OPTICOM test more Video Streaming Services than ever before.

German operator 1&1 won in 2017, but German Telekom is once again top of CONNECT magazine‘s new 2018 benchmark of German networks. Tested by zafaco GmbH and backed by OPTICOM GmbH‘s POLQA and PEVQ-S MOS tools for voice and video streaming benchmarking, this year‘s test analyzed more video streaming services than ever before: Amazon, Facebook, Netflix, YouTube, Zattoo and public TV ZDF. With 48 test sites all over Germany and about 4.4m measurements carried out during May and June 2018, the annual CONNECT test, now in it‘s 9th year, delivers again comprehensive QoE insights of Germany‘s network infrastructure...
